Survivor 51 Timeline

Lewis Volunteers for Exile, Loses to a Mast

Lewis stepped away from 20 strangers to start the game alone, then spent his exile chopping at a mast for a hidden idol until his hands were shredded. He showed plenty of heart but came back with no idol.

Rob Finds an Idol With No Strings Attached

On the Savu beach, Rob found a real hidden immunity idol with no conditions, playable through the final five. It's day one, and he already holds the most valuable item in the game.

Savu Wins the First Immunity

Brady nearly destroyed his Achilles on the crate section trying to drag Toka back into it, but Ana and Cristian closed out the puzzle and purple never had to see Tribal.

Two Shots in the Dark, Zero Safeties

Aaliyah and Jenna both gave up their votes for a Shot in the Dark, and both came up "not safe." Recappers are calling it the first double Shot in the Dark the show has seen, and it went bust twice.

Brady Loses a Thumbtip, Keeps His Spot

Chopping wood with the tribe axe, Brady sliced off the tip of his thumb, and Patt ended up holding the piece in a shell. Medical patched him up and cleared him to stay, and he asked them to put the tip in a cooler so he could take it home.

Rob Tries to Vote Himself Out

Rob promised Eric that something history-making was coming, then tried to write his own name at Tribal. A producer stopped him because it's against the rules, so he wrote Eric's name anyway. The idol is still in his bag.

Ana Blindsided 6–4

The Eric vote fell apart in an afternoon, and Ana went home with Eric's name in her hand. She's the second boot of the season: she stirred the pot on purpose, and it boiled over on her.

Devin Names His Strategy

After his loud first Tribal, Devin gave his approach a name, weaponized honesty, and the episode borrowed it as its title. Jelly warned him it can cut both ways.

Toka Sweeps Both Challenges

Toka won tarp and pillows at the blindfolded reward when Jelly hooked the final sandbag, then beat Savu at sea and on land hauling the 500-pound whale for immunity, with Maggie landing the final ball in a downpour. That's +5 for every Toka castaway, +3 more each for Jelly's and Maggie's clinchers, and Savu's first trip to Tribal.

Jelly's Secret Idol

Jelly hooked the final sandbag to clinch the reward, then turned up Toka's idol while the tribe was enjoying the haul, and told Patt and kept it from Devin, the guy who just named his strategy "weaponized honesty". The idol never needed to come out: Toka won both challenges.
