Brady Loses a Thumbtip, Keeps His Spot

Brady Loses a Thumbtip, Keeps His Spot

Chopping wood with the tribe axe, Brady sliced off the tip of his thumb, and Patt ended up holding the piece in a shell. Medical patched him up and cleared him to stay, and he asked them to put the tip in a cooler so he could take it home.

Rob Tries to Vote Himself Out

Rob Tries to Vote Himself Out

Rob promised Eric that something history-making was coming, then tried to write his own name at Tribal. A producer stopped him because it's against the rules, so he wrote Eric's name anyway. The idol is still in his bag.

Ana Blindsided 6–4

The Eric vote fell apart in an afternoon, and Ana went home with Eric's name in her hand. She's the second boot of the season: she stirred the pot on purpose, and it boiled over on her.

Devin Names His Strategy

After his loud first Tribal, Devin gave his approach a name, weaponized honesty, and the episode borrowed it as its title. Jelly warned him it can cut both ways.

Toka Sweeps Both Challenges

Toka Sweeps Both Challenges

Toka won tarp and pillows at the blindfolded reward, then beat Savu at sea and on land hauling the 500-pound whale for immunity. That's +5 for every Toka castaway, and Savu's first trip to Tribal.

Camp Notes

Kristin went down hard at the blindfolded reward challenge and was sure her game was over. Then she remembered the plant she'd researched before the season, found it, and treated her own foot with it.

Rob spent the day telling Eric that something legendary was about to happen at Tribal, without saying what. The plan turned out to be voting himself out. In the booth, a producer told him he can't write his own name, and he wrote Eric's instead.

Tribal Council

Savu's first Tribal looked settled by the afternoon: the whole tribe had agreed on Eric. Then Alexis overheard Ana recapping their private conversation to Carter and Cristian, names and all. Alexis took it straight to Sharonda and Linnea, and Ana's plan to target the two of them was out in the open. Sharonda's answer: if Ana was gunning for them, they were gunning for her.

Rob had his own plan. He told Eric something legendary was coming, then just before the vote told him to play his Shot in the Dark, and promised to play his idol on Eric if that missed. In the booth he tried to write his own name down, and a producer stopped him: you can't vote for yourself. He wrote Eric's name instead.

Eric never played the Shot, and Rob's idol stayed in his bag. The vote was 6–4: Alexis, Cristian, Eric, Kristin, Linnea and Sharonda wrote Ana, while Ana, Carter, Ori and Rob wrote Eric.

Ana Sani is the second person voted out of Survivor 51, blindsided after promising too much too fast. Her exit: "I definitely played a little too hard, too quickly."

Fantasy fallout: Ana is on 12 drafted tribes, and each takes the blindside at −5. Two managers had her crowned, and a loss counts once, never doubled. Rob is the Sole Survivor on six tribes, and his night washes out to exactly zero for them: +1 for surviving with no votes, doubled to +2, minus 2 for the self-vote. Devin is the week's top scorer at +8, because the episode title is his line. Sole Survivor picks are now locked for the season.
