Defense attorneys are professionally trained to read a room, build a narrative and argue a losing position convincingly — which is a fairly literal description of Final Tribal Council. The risk is the same as every lawyer who has played: if the tribe clocks the profession early, 'too good at talking' becomes the pretext for an early boot.

What to watch for

Whether she downplays the job in week one. Lawyers who hide it last; lawyers who lead with it rarely do.

All 21 players are first-timers, and they start in just two tribes — the first two-tribe season since Winners at War. Filmed in Mamanuca Islands, Fiji.
