Survivor 51 Episode 6, "I Love Crying," airs Wednesday, October 28 at 8 PM ET/PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+. It picks up the morning after a double Tribal: Savu is down to three, and Dina has to live with a deadlock that ended with Linnea leaving and Lewis and Kilby still there. For fantasy players, the one decision with a deadline is this week's pick'em, which closes the moment the episode airs.
Where Episode 5 left the board
Episode 5 sent two tribes to Tribal and cost the game two players. Toka won the buoy challenge and a basket of pastries, which kept it away from Tribal for a second week since the swap. At Savu, Devin, Jelly and Ori voted Alexis out 3–1.
Dina was the chaos. Maggie turned up on Dina's beach, and at Tribal Lewis and Kilby each played an Extra Vote, the first time two have been used at one Tribal Council. That made it 4–4 between Lewis and Linnea, and the revote deadlocked 4–4 again. With Lewis and Linnea unable to vote, the other four had to agree or draw rocks. Cristian, Eric, Sharonda and Kilby all wrote Linnea. Our Episode 5 recap has every vote.

| Tribe | Castaways left | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Toka (yellow) | 6 | Brady, Carter, Kristin, Maggie, Mike, Thien An |
| Dina (pink) | 5 | Cristian, Eric, Kilby, Lewis, Sharonda |
| Savu (purple) | 3 | Devin, Jelly, Ori |
Six castaways have been voted out, and all six are women: Aaliyah, Ana, Patt, Jenna, Alexis and Linnea. The eliminations timeline has the order.
What the preview shows
CBS hasn't released a logline for "I Love Crying" yet. CarterMatt's read of the preview is that it is about Dina's fallout, with Eric signalling that his side is not going to let the deadlock go. That puts the pressure on Lewis and Kilby, the two original Tokas who outlasted Dina's four original Savus with two Extra Votes.
Speculation
Previews are cut to tease, so treat this as a direction rather than a result. Lewis and Kilby won the deadlock, but they did it two against four, and both Extra Votes have now been played. On a straight vote, Dina's original Savus still have the numbers.

Savu came to Tribal with four and left with three.
CBS
Who is exposed
Lewis and Kilby are the names to watch. Lewis took four votes on each of Dina's first two counts, and Kilby forced the rock threat that sent Linnea home. If Dina goes back to Tribal, the former Savus still have three votes to their two.
Savu cannot lose again without breaking itself. Devin, Jelly and Ori voted together to send Alexis home. Another loss means two of them write the third's name. It is not an even three, either: Jelly is holding Toka's idol and kept it from Devin, and Devin is holding a Secret Extra Vote he hasn't played.
Toka has the numbers and two powers' worth of trouble. Six castaways, no Tribal since the swap, and Carter still has the idol Rob left him. Maggie's trip to Dina means she now knows Lewis and Kilby better than anyone else on Toka does, which matters the moment the tribes meet again.
Every idol and advantage still in play is on the idols and advantages page.

Episode 5's buoy challenge, which Toka won.

How Episode 5 scored
Linnea's blindside cost −5, softened by +3 for saying the episode title. Alexis's boot cost −3. Lewis and Kilby each earned the blindside bonus for the Dina vote. The house rules have every value, and the fantasy points leaderboard has the full Week 5 totals.
Your one decision: the pick'em
There are no roster or Sole Survivor moves left to make before Episode 6, but there is one deadline: the Episode 6 pick'em closes when the episode airs. It offers every castaway still in the game, and a correct pick keeps your streak alive on the season leaderboard. Make it on the predictions page, where two more Episode 5 follow-ups are open: who goes first from Savu, and whether Lewis survives the next Dina Tribal.
Three questions before you pick:
- Which tribe is likeliest to lose? Savu has lost both challenges since the swap, and now it has three bodies to compete with.
- Who just made enemies? Lewis and Kilby outlasted four original Savus, and three of them, Cristian, Eric and Sharonda, are still on their beach.
- Who is holding something? Jelly's idol and Devin's Extra Vote are both on Savu, and Carter's idol is on Toka.
Solo Tribe
Pick your 5 castaways. Name your Sole Survivor, who doubles every point they gain. Compete on the global leaderboard.
