Who has an extra vote on Survivor 51?
Two Secret Extra Votes turned up in Episode 3. Devin holds one, found tied to the ladle at Savu’s well, and Maggie holds the other, found hidden inside an oar on the Toka beach.
How it works
- An Extra Vote lets its holder cast two votes at one Tribal Council.
- These two were hidden at camp during the Episode 3 visit, one at each tribe.
- Neither has been played on screen yet.
So far this season
Devin found his with Sharonda during his visit to Savu and told Ori. Brady broke open the oar, and let Maggie keep the vote in return for a promise to vote his way; at the next Tribal she voted against his side. Both votes are still unplayed after Episode 4.
The fantasy angle
Finding an advantage scores on the spot. The bigger fantasy question is what an extra vote does at Tribal: the holder can swing a close vote, which makes them a likely survivor of the next one and a likely target the moment anyone finds out.
