Where are the hidden immunity idols on Survivor 51?
Survivor 51 hid an idol at each tribe camp from the start, plus the idol on Exile Island. The Savu idol was found on day one.
How it works
- Each tribe camp has its own hidden immunity idol.
- Played at Tribal Council after the votes are cast and before they are read, it cancels every vote against the person it is played for.
- The Savu idol came with no riddle, no activation condition and no beware clause.
- Like every idol in the modern game, it stops working once five players remain.
So far this season
Rob Antonson found the Savu idol at camp in the first hours of the season, while the rest of Savu built a shelter, and has told nobody on screen. The Exile idol was never freed. The Toka idol has not been shown found.
The fantasy angle
Finding an idol scores on the spot, and playing it well scores again, so an idol holder is one of the best short-term holds in the game. The risk is the other end: going home with an idol in your pocket is the heaviest single loss in the scoring table.
