How many days is Survivor 51?
Survivor 51 is a 26-day game, the length every season has run since the new era began, starting with two tribes: Savu and Toka.
How it works
- 26 days, not the 39 the show ran for its first forty seasons.
- Two starting tribes, the first two-tribe start since Winners at War.
- 21 castaways, an odd number: Savu started with ten and Toka with eleven once Lewis joined from Exile.
- A shorter game means fewer days between votes, so early mistakes are harder to recover from.

Both tribes are on the beach and the first vote is done. The /schedule page has every episode date.
The fantasy angle
Fewer days means fewer pre-merge episodes to bank points in, and every tribal immunity win matters more. Castaways on the tribe that wins challenges early score steadily and stay safe at the same time.
