Chrissy Hofbeck hits her marks on the multi-stage duos challenge, but the safety at the end of it belongs to somebody else: Joe Hunter and Tiffany Nicole Ervin crush the back half, take the brutal table maze, and bank immunity plus a spaghetti-and-tiramisu feast. For every pair that isn't theirs, the twist has teeth — lose together, leave together.

Devens Cashes In the Fake

The fake idol has been sitting in the Tribal Council set since Night 6. Now the bill comes due: with Devens and Aubry squarely in the Double Duo crosshairs, he admits at Tribal that he's nervous — and pulls the "idol" out of the set in front of everybody. Instant panic. Whispers everywhere, votes rerouting in real time. He never even plays it, claiming it has to go back to camp to be live. He doesn't need to. Coach and Chrissy go out as a pair, and Devens walks with one lonely vote against him. Theater. Pure theater.

Cirie Pitches the Power Play

Fresh off Exile, Cirie returns to camp and immediately identifies the real threat: Coach and Chrissy running the majority. She convinces Ozzy to flip and pitches a ruthless plan — use the Double Duo twist to take out both leaders in one shot.

The Camp Splits in Two

Joe pushes hard to save Coach and target Devens instead, while Emily, Christian, and Aubry quietly rally votes against the power couple. The tribe fractures into two clear camps heading into what everyone knows will be a historic Tribal.

Tribal Council

The Double Duo twist turned Tribal Council into pure chaos. Players voted out pairs — and when the votes landed on Coach and Chrissy, both torches were snuffed in succession.

Before the vote, Rick Devens made maybe the move of the season. He retrieved his planted fake idol from under the Tribal Council set, sending the entire tribe into a panic spiral. Players who had been targeting the Devens/Aubry pair suddenly scrambled, terrified of wasting their votes against an idol play.

Coach attempted to save himself and Chrissy with his Shot in the Dark — but drew a "Not Safe" scroll. With no protection in play, the votes piled up:

Chrissy and Coach — voted out unanimously.

They become the 2nd and 3rd members of the jury.

Chrissy left with grace, reflecting on how this second chance helped heal old frustrations from Season 35. Coach? He exited with classic Coach energy — head held high, insisting nobody quite compares to the Dragon Slayer.

The power structure that had been running the beach is now obliterated.
