Xander loaded up fast in Survivor 41. He volunteered for Yase's brutal Sweat task to earn flint, pocketed an Extra Vote at a Day 2 summit, and opened a Beware Advantage that stripped his vote until he finally activated his idol. All that hardware made him Yase's biggest target, and Evvie Jagoda even leaked his idol to another tribe, but Yase kept him over David Voce, sparking a long rivalry with Liana Wallace.
After the merge the Yase alliance found itself outnumbered, and Xander pivoted to pure self-preservation, holding his advantages close while Tiffany Seely and Evvie went home. He joined Ricard Foyé's plan to blindside Shan Smith, used his Extra Vote to protect Ricard, then played his idol on himself at the final five to send Ricard out. He won the final immunity but misread the jury, sending Deshawn Radden to fire, and Deshawn beat Heather Aldret. Jurors liked him personally but called his game passive, and he left without a vote.
