Wes came to San Juan del Sur with his dad, Keith Nale, and the family trip started rough: they lost their fire striker on Day Zero and spent a cold night without flame. On Coyopa he beat his own father in a Hero Duel, chose fishing gear over comfort, and sent Josh Canfield to Exile with Keith. A swap split the Nales up, but Wes rode a winning Hunahpu to the merge and settled into an alliance with his dad, Josh, Reed Kelly and Alec Christy.
Likable and rarely a target, Wes stayed safe while his side lost numbers. The end came from inside the family. Reed's split-vote plan to blindside Jon Misch leaked when Keith told his side to stick to the plan in front of everyone, Natalie Anderson urged Jon to play his idol, and Keith played his own after Wes turned it down. With every other vote wiped out, Wes left on just two. From the jury, he voted for Natalie.
