Known for
Vince arrived proud to be Survivor's first Hmong castaway and bonded fast with Elaine Stott and Tom Laidlaw over firewood. A flubbed puzzle at the first challenge had him scrambling to stay in every plan, and though Elaine briefly pointed the target his way, the Ronnie Bardah blindside went off. He then played along with Aaron Meredith's pitch for a men's alliance while keeping his real loyalty with the women.
His summons to the Island of the Idols was a dream moment in front of Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine, and he passed their test by sneaking into Vokai's camp and improvising with coals in a water bottle when there was no fire to light his torch from. The reward was a special idol. The catch was that Lairo feared exactly that, and while Vince was sure Tom was the target, his own allies split votes and blindsided him with the idol still unused.
