Ryan hit the ground running in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, finding a super idol on the boat before he even reached camp. When Yawa won the first immunity, he had to hand it to the losing tribe, and he chose Chrissy Hofbeck. That gift paid off after the tribe switch put them together on Soko, where Ryan swung the vote to blindside Roark Luskin and later Ali Elliott.
At the merge he slotted into the Round Table majority and quietly grabbed a Hidden Immunity Idol, but the JP Hilsabeck blindside shoved him and Chrissy to the bottom. The pair clawed back once Ben Driebergen's idol run made him the main target, and Chrissy used her final-immunity twist to save Ryan from the fire. At Final Tribal he made the case that the super idol, the Chrissy alliance and the merge majority were all his work, but jurors knocked his thin social game, and even fellow finalists Ben and Chrissy called out his camp effort. Devon Pinto cast his only vote as Ben won 5-2-1.
