Ryno landed on Morgan, the Pearl Islands tribe that could not catch a break. They fumbled the market, failed at shelter, lost challenge after challenge and got looted by Drake. Things only improved once they kidnapped Rupert Boneham, which Ryan called the best thing Morgan had done. He chugged two gross smoothies in a winning challenge and adopted a curious pelican he named Pelican Pete, shepherding it away when Osten Taylor threatened the bird. He and Andrew Savage won the immunity that brought Morgan level at five apiece.
Then the Outcasts twist hit. Osten walked away, Lillian Morris came back, and at the merge Burton Roberts coaxed Lillian into flipping, which took out Andrew. As Andrew's lieutenant and the strongest remaining Morgan, Ryan knew he was next. He warned Burton that Drake would turn on him too and pushed for Rupert or Christa Hastie, but nobody bit and he went out unanimously. On the jury he asked Sandra Diaz-Twine whether she had ridden coattails, liked her answer, and voted for her.
