The quiet puppet master of Survivor 42's merge, undone by one parting compliment.
Known for
Omar made friends with all of Taku and became the brains of the Taku Four, the only one trusted with Maryanne Oketch's idol secret after he helped save her. A journey with Chanelle Howell cost him his vote at the first merge Tribal, but he turned voteless into cover, playing clueless while he engineered Lydia Meredith's blindside and even got her own allies to join in.
From there Omar worked both sides of the fence. He volunteered to be the lone vote on Romeo Escobar, used a Split Tribal Council to take out Rocksroy Bailey and kill an all-male alliance, and built a key partnership with Lindsay Dolashewich. When Drea Wheeler confided her Knowledge is Power plan, Omar and Lindsay hijacked it, got Mike Turner's idol into Omar's hands and voted Drea out. Her goodbye line about trusting Omar most blew his cover. Maryanne used an Extra Vote, Lindsay kept her amulet, and Omar went out 3-2-2. He voted for Maryanne.
