Nick arrived on Gondol, the Beauty tribe, convinced he was a master strategist, and his tribemates mostly found him cold. It did not matter for a long time. His tribes kept winning, so he went deep into the game without ever attending a Tribal Council, and a swap to Chan Loh changed nothing.
At the merge he and Michele Fitzgerald held the swing votes, and Debbie's heavy-handed pitch pushed them toward the rival group of Cydney Gillon, Julia, Scot Pollard and Kyle Jason. Nick won the first individual immunity, only for Neal Gottlieb's medical evacuation to cancel the vote. Then he made his mistake: after a reward, he confronted Julia about the women huddling on the boat. Cydney took offense and built exactly the women's alliance he feared. At his first Tribal Council, the women plus Joe voted him out. On the jury he voted for Aubry.
