Vanuatu's booming drill sergeant, who built the Fat Five and then got outflanked by the women.

Sarge took charge of the men's Lopevi tribe the way you would expect a drill sergeant to. He founded the Fat Five with Chris Daugherty, a pact built so one of the older men could win, and it ran the men's votes as Brook Geraghty, John Palyok and Brady Finta went out in turn. His big voice made him a natural challenge caller, even if his urge to run everything grated on Rory Freeman. When locals handed him a chief's staff, he got to help build the new tribes at the swap, and he formed a tight bond with Twila Tanner, who he promised a final four spot.
The merge flipped everything. Sarge won the first individual immunity, but the women held the numbers and Twila broke her word by voting out Rory. Sarge tipped his cap to them for playing him. While the men strategized in a canoe, the women ate the chicken wings, and he thanked them for the tips. Ami Cusack tagged him as the top challenge threat, and even Chris voted against him. On the jury he tested Chris's friendship, then voted for him.
