Julie began Vanuatu on the all-women Yasur tribe, hanging with the younger group that Scout Cloud Lee and Twila Tanner saw as short on work ethic. After the swap put her on the new Lopevi with Chris Daugherty, Twila, Chad Crittenden and John Kenney, she went on a charm offensive, and it paid off with intel: she learned Lea "Sarge" Masters had promised the final four to both Chris and Twila, and used that to win Twila over.
At the merge the women took control, leaving the men nothing but chicken wing tips. As the alliance cracked, Julie made her big play. After winning a horseback-ride reward, she picked Chris to come with her and pitched a new trio with him and Eliza Orlins to cut Twila and Scout. Chris kept both doors open, told each side to vote out the other, and ultimately went with Twila and Scout. At Final Tribal Council she was in tears before she said a word, asked Chris whether their friendship was real, and voted for him anyway.
