Jan Gentry
Thailand's kooky tribe-picker, written off by everyone, who rode loyalty to Chuay Gahn deep into the endgame.
Known for
Jan got an unusual job on Day 1 of Thailand: she and Jake Billingsley, the oldest players on the beach, chose the tribes. She loaded Chuay Gahn with older castaways, and both tribes knocked her picks in confessional. Then her team started winning, and the laughing stopped. Jan survived the season's Grind Gate blowup, joined Ghandia Johnson's short-lived women's alliance, and refused a chance to jump ships at the auction, preferring to sink or swim with her tribe. She also built a small cemetery at camp for a baby bat and scraps of chicken.
After the fake merge, Jan stayed loyal to the Chuay Gahn Five as Sook Jai was picked off one by one. At the final four she played along with the men's ruse, pretending she was headed home so Helen Glover would be blindsided. Brian Heidik then cut her rather than Clay Jordan, figuring Clay was easier to beat. She kissed Jeff on the way out and voted for Brian.
