Drea treated the Survivor 42 map like a shopping list. She grabbed an Advantage Amulet right away alongside Lindsay Dolashewich and Hai Giang, risked her vote at a summit and kept it, then stacked on an Extra Vote, an idol and Knowledge is Power before the merge. On Ika she ran with Romeo Escobar and Rocksroy Bailey, pitched Tori Meehan and Swati Goel on a women's alliance, and helped cut Swati once Swati's crossed wires came to light.
Post-merge she ditched Romeo and Tori for a Taku-heavy majority. At the Split Tribal, tipped off by Tori that Jonathan Young wanted to flush her idol, she played it and Tori went home. Then the amulet trio cracked: she and Lindsay took out Hai, and Mike Turner sold her a fake final-five pact. Drea told Omar Zaheer about Knowledge is Power, Mike slipped his idol to Omar, her question came up empty, and even her Extra Vote could not stop a 5-3 result. She then helped Maryanne Oketch to her 7-1-0 win.
