Deena took over a chaotic all-women Jaburu camp and actually organized it. Shawna Mitchell pulled her into the Jaburu Alliance with Heidi Strobel and Jenna Morasca, and Deena signed on believing the young women would be easy to steer. When Shawna begged to go home, Deena overruled her and talked Christy Smith into sending JoAnna Ward out instead. After the swap she added Rob Cesternino as an ally.
At the Jacaré merge she butted heads with Roger Sexton, won immunity by beating Christy at rock-paper-scissors, and watched Roger get the boot. She irritated Jenna by eating the tribe's dinner with Dave Johnson after a food reward. Her big swing was an early move on Alex Bell; she lined up Heidi, Rob and Jenna, felt certain, and walked into Tribal as the blindside target instead. On the jury she pressed Matthew von Ertfelda over a remark she read as sexist, then voted for Jenna's game.
