Dan "Wardog" DaSilva
The Wardog: all strategy, no chill, and the man who blindsided the eventual winner and the last returnee.
Known for
Wardog was no threat in challenges on Edge of Extinction, so he schemed instead. On a Manu tribe that lost every early immunity, he ran a tight trio with Kelley and Lauren, talked the tribe into keeping Kelley as a shield, and flipped the vote onto Chris Underwood when Chris wobbled. As the swing vote on Lesu he stuck with his trio to cut Rick, though Kelley and Lauren grew weary of him steamrolling every discussion.
After the merge he pulled off his best scramble, convincing Gavin Whitson and Julia that Eric and Ron were stockpiling allies for later, and Eric went home. Then he went for the big one, flipping on Kelley, the last returnee standing, and blindsiding her. That shattered his alliance, and a heated blowup with Gavin, who had been left out of the plan, drained his goodwill. When Rick won immunity, Ron turned and Wardog was voted out. He lost the final re-entry duel to Chris, then voted for him to win.
