Gabon's overeager planner, dogged by an idol he never found and a rice pot he couldn't leave alone.
Known for
Dan's Gabon run was shaped by a trip to Exile Island early on. He grabbed the clue, searched for hours, and came back empty-handed, but Fang didn't believe him. At Tribal Council he dumped his whole bag out to prove he had nothing, and the tribe sent Gillian Larson home instead. He then locked in a four-person pact with Matty Whitmore, Randy Bailey and Susie Smith.
The tribe switch dropped him onto Kota with Randy and Susie, three original Fang members facing an entrenched Kota four. Dan's instinct was to talk, and it backfired: his pitch for a seven-person tribe alliance got a skeptical brush-off from Marcus Lehman, heavy helpings of rice irritated everyone, and his push to ration the reward food went over worse. By the Double Tribal Council, Corinne Kaplan saw him as paranoid. Still spooked that he might have the idol, the Onion Alliance split its votes between Dan and Susie, and Dan was the one who went.
