San Juan del Sur's fire-starting dad, who fought for his daughter's game and went down waving a fake idol.

Dale played Blood vs. Water with his daughter, Kelley Wentworth, and started on Coyopa, where the women immediately flagged his age as a challenge liability. He answered by snapping his reading glasses in half to make fire, earning the tribe's respect, and survived when Baylor Wilson swung the first vote onto Nadiya Anderson. On day one he'd also pocketed a trinket he suspected might be an idol, and he held onto it.
The tribe switch finally put him on the same beach as Kelley, but Dale's policing of the rice ration, served too generously by Missy Payne, didn't help. Missy was already sore that he'd tried to vote out her daughter. Kelley played peacemaker, and the Wentworths pitched Jaclyn Schultz and Jon Misch on cutting Baylor, but that pair sided with Missy and Kelley went home. A shaken Dale brought out his trinket and offered it to Jon as an idol in exchange for safety. Jon was tempted, but the alliance split its votes and Dale followed his daughter out.
