Cassidy wanted to lie low on Coco in Survivor 43, but Geo Bustamante and Ryan Medrano kept trying to vote her out. Her alliance with Karla Cruz Godoy and James Jones stood by her, first cutting Lindsay Carmine and then sending Geo home in a tight vote.
Her social radar kept her in the majority after the merge, and a lucky Split Tribal draw ended her rivalry with Ryan when her team voted him out. She won immunity to lock in Noelle Lambert's boot, then sensed Karla coming for her; the friendship cracked after a tense confrontation. Cassidy joined Jesse Lopez's plan to take out Cody Assenmacher, sealed a final-three deal with Owen, and told Karla to her face she was going. She won the final immunity but refused Jesse's challenge to face him at fire, sending Mike Gabler instead, and Gabler won. Jurors respected her challenge wins but not that choice, and Gabler took the title 7-1-0, with James casting Cassidy's lone vote.
